Ysgol Feithrin Y Trallwng Ltd is a Cylch Meithrin run by a volunteer management Board of Trustees made up of parents and others committed to the continuance of the group.
The Board employs fully qualified and experienced staff to run the daily sessions for children aged 2 years to school entrance age. We are a Cylch Meithrin Charitable Playgroup based in Welshpool and work hard fundraising every term to keep our fees at an affordable rate to all.

Our sessions
From a first morning away from mum or dad, through to funded 3+ sessions and full days. Full detail sits on our nursery services page.
Grŵp 2 oed For children not yet eligible for 3+ educational funding. For most of our children this is the first group they join away from their parent, with a dedicated early years room and their own outdoor playground.
Grŵp cyllido addysgol 3+ Ten funded hours a week from the term after a third birthday, 9am to 11.30am Monday to Thursday. Many families then add the Childcare Offer for Wales so children can stay for the full day.
Grŵp Rhieni a Phlant Bach Our Friday Ti a Fi group runs 1.45pm to 3.15pm at £1 per child. Parents stay and play, with Welsh language materials and equipment on hand. Places must be booked by phone.

Ysgol Feithrin Y Trallwng Ltd believes that every child is a unique individual. Each child will develop physically, cognitively, emotionally, and socially at his or her own pace. Furthermore, we believe that children are competent learners, capable of engaging with ideas and the world around them.
We believe children learn through play. It is through play, art, and our hands-on approach that we introduce the Welsh language. We believe that it is essential to create an atmosphere of trust and safety where children will strive to become independent critical thinkers.
We are part of the Welsh Government Healthy Pre-school Scheme, promoting healthy living and teeth care.

A spacious outdoor area where children grow potatoes and vegetables and take part in woodwork, crafts, yoga, bug hunting and music, plus inside role play areas that change periodically.
Our staff help children settle quickly and achieve their potential, with a key worker for every child who keeps a Link Book and Learning Journey diary for parents to read.
The inspector was glowing in her praise for the work we do. We are registered with Mudiad Meithrin, our professional Welsh accreditation, and with Care Inspectorate Wales.
